Uppunda:Construction work of Water tank project inaugurated

 

 

 

 Byndoor:March.18:Zilla Panchayath member Smt.Gowri Devadiga laid the foundation stone for the construction of 50 thousand liter water tank project to ease the water problem of Madikal Karkikali region of Uppunda village.

A pipeline and water tank project in front of Aramakodi temple at the cost of Rs.20 lakh with the aid from Zilla Panchayath is also coming up. The project was approved with a aim of supplying regular water for the people of the coastal region.

Village Panchayath president Jagannath Uppunda,Taluk Panchayath member Prasanna Kumar,former vice president Praveenchandra,village panchayath member Jayakumar,Shridhar Kharvi,Naagaraj,Temple Managing committee secretary B.Ratnakar Kharvi,contractor Bhatkal’s Gajanana Mogaveera were present at the occasion.
