Today’s politics is in the hands of ‘note distributing hands’:Prathapchandra Shetty

Kundapur:March.27:Once popularly known as the ‘undefeated King’ and titled ‘Kundapur Congress emperor’, former MLA and present MLC,Prathapchandra Shetty will bring the victory to the party if he decides to contest from Kundapur constituency according to the opinion of the Congress party activists. Once it was believed ‘Congress means Prathapchandra Shetty’ and Prathapchandra Shetty means Congress. His ‘dictator’ type behavior and attitude of ‘no competition against him’ was a history. But whatever the charges labelled against him,he was showing his presence for public help whenever needed when he was an MLA. The Police dept.and the govt.office staff used to respect him because of his approach towards the public works. Whenever the police officials used to harass the people,he will go to their help and take the police officials to task. He should not taken his first ever defeat from this constituency seriously opined the Congress party leaders.

He lost the election with a meager margin. He should have continued his participation from Kundapur constituency said the Congress activists. If he decides to contest from our constituency, the Congress party’s win is 100% according to the activists.

But the leader seems to be unhappy. He said “I love my constituency and the people of my constituency. But today’s politics is totally in the hands of ‘Note distributing hands’. It is necessary to have ‘bundles of notes’ earned from illegal sources and I do not have them. Each currency note I have earned is from my hard work. How can I spent that much of money he questioned. There is no faith and honesty in today’s politics. That is why I am standing far from it he said.
