Attack on Hindu youths;3 more detained by the police

Kaup:March.17: The Kaup police have arrested 3 more persons in connection with the attack on Hindu youths by a group of Muslim youths on Wednesday evening. Rafik Uchila(32),Mohamed Ashraf(31) and Sheikh Siraj(21),the residents of Uchilla village were detained by the police on Sunday.

Mallaru Phakeeranakatte resident Mubeen(31),Mallaru Kombadagudde Touseef(25),Uchilla resident Jalaluddin(24) and Uchilla Nasir(21) were arrested by the police on March 14. All the accused are in Hiriyadka jail and the result of their bail plea will come out on Monday. Hindu organizations have protested against the attack and called for a Kaup bandh on Saturday.
