Supply of gas through pipeline soon at Udupi and Mangalore

Udupi/Mangalore:March.30:It is most likely that the people of Udupi and Mangalore cities are going to have ‘gas pipeline’ fixed at their homes soon according to a reliable source. The Minister of petroleum Dr.M.Veerappa Moily has responded to a request made by the Karnataka CM Jagdish Shettar to connect the Dabhol-Bidadi gas pipeline to D.K.and Udupi districts via Hubli and Dharwar. The sign of expansion of gas pipeline through out the Karavali region is most likely to happen soon.

In the initial stage,the pipe line will be installed in cities only. Rural area people will not get advantage of this facility in the initial stage. The supply of LPG cylinders might stop in the cities soon.
