Official inauguration of ‘International Air cargo complex’ at Mangalore airport on March.18

Mangalore:March.15:The Mangalore Airport is going to open its ‘Air Cargo Complex’ officially on Monday(18/03/2013) according to Mangalore Airport Authority director Radhakrishna. The inaugural ceremony of the air cargo complex will be held at the airport hall on Monday he said. The Mangalore airport is going to provide additional public services through the opening of its cargo complex from Monday.

Even though the Mangalore airport was officially announced as the International airport last year,the opening of ‘ airport custom  complex’ was still pending. After the inauguration of the new terminal last year,the old terminal became free for the use of  air cargo facility. The Mangalore airport will officially join the list of  ’international Cargo Complex Airports’  on Monday.

The Central Minister of Aviation Ajith Singh will inaugurate the cargo complex. Petrolium Minister M.Veerappa Moily,Minister of state for Aviation K.C.Venugopal,chief minister Jagadish Shetter,Airport Authority of India president V.P.Agarwal,local MPs,MLAs will be present at the inaugural ceremony.
