ACME Vision’s “KANNADIGAWORLD.COM” Launched in Dubai On March - 16 - 2013

Dubai : Acme Building Materials Co. who are very well known in the UAE Market in their line of business have grown over the years with the able management of the sole owner Harish Sherigar, a broad hearted personality very well known in the UAE and Oman for his singing capability. They extended their business activity in Oman last year and also have developed Property business in India with residential buildings.

Diversifying their activity Acme have now have took up media with the launching of Acme Vision which got launched yesterday at Fortune Plaza Hotel, Ghusais wherein a big number of invitees gathered to wish Harish Sherigar’s new vision. It started with lighting the lamp by visiting guests of honur Ashok Purohit and Dharmapal Devadiga including resident guests of honours, Shekar Shetty, Lokesh V. Puthran, Sarvotham Shetty, Mark Denis, C.R. Shetty, Harish Sherigar & B.G. Mohandas. All the guests were introduced and honoured with flower bouquet. Akshata & Anshul Sherigar’s did the honours on behalf of Acme Vision.

 

 A short video presentation on the Acme Building Materials road to prosperity was shown along with Acme Visions future vision. As Master of Ceremony, Earl Joy lead the event smoothly in his own style.

Gulfkannadiga.com widely known as the brain child of the well known Kannadiga, Ex-President of Karnataka Sangha Dubai, B.G. Mohandas is the only Kannada website to date to have large number of viewers hitting the site on a daily basis. BG Mohandas who all through these years served for and developed Kannada in this region, was on the verge to close this site and retire to hometown. He has been honoured with various awards in many Karnataka Associations in the Gulf for his good deeds and his love to Kannada. However, recently when he whispered about the closing of Gulfkannadiga.com with Harish Sherigar, the later with his broad heart convinced BG that he will take up his mission forward with new vision. And that is how Acme Vision is born as briefed by B.G. Mohandas in his opening speech who thanked all those who were part of the vision mission and introduced his Team mates to the audience. Along with this another English web site is born and soon the new website launch was done with the Guests on the dais hitting the button and inaugurating the new site Kannadigaworld.com. Acme Visions with the opening of the new site announced that the initial proceedings of the new website will go to building of a new house to a poor family back in Mangalore who were shown and briefed in a video presentation. Harish Sherigar a kind hearted business man always promoting charity in different ways proved true in this event too.

All the guests on the dais spoke separately one by one with their views, advises and blessings to both Harish Sherigar & B.G. Mohandas. Ashok Purohit said that as per Vasthu yesterday’s time and place perfectly suits the launching of Acme Vision and blessed the total Team to success. Sharmila Sherigar, Yashoda Mohandas & Akhil Mohandas were introduced as the Acme Visions Management Team along with Ashok Belman and were honoured with flower bouquet. While Praveen Shetty, Herman Lewis, Ganesh Rai, Sujay Bendore & Shodhan Prasad and few Team Members of the Vision were honoured with flower bouquet for their support as always.

Harish Sherigar personally thanked all the invitees for being with him throughout these years and also for being with him in his current vision mission.

A fellowship buffet Dinner was hosted wherein all the old and new friends met and dined together listening and enjoying the melodious songs rendered by Harish Sherigar, Akshatha Rao, Preema Rodrigues, Dilip Devadiga and others.
