Shiruru:2 Youths killed in Bike-Truck accident On March - 14 - 2013

Shiruru:March.13:2 Youths from Shiruru were killed when their bike collided with a truck at Mugalihonda near Bhatkal on Tuesday evening. The deceased were identified as Tanweer Adam Daddi(18) and Haris Kamil(17),the residents of Shiruru.

The incident took place when they were returning from Bhatkal to Shiruru after attending a private party. Kamil was studying at Mangalore and came to Shiruru on a holiday. According to the sources,the incident happened when they were trying to overtake a vehicle and a truck coming from opposite direction hit them. Both of them got serious injuries and admitted to Bhatkal Govt.hospital.

Immediate arrangements were made to shift them to Manipal KMC hospital. Haris Kamil succumed to his injuries on the way to the hospital while Tanweer took his last breath after reaching the hospital.

A case has been registered against the truck driver at Bhatkal Police station.
