Kundapur:Youth died while bathing in the pond

Kundapur:March.31:Uday Poojari(19), son of Kariya Poojari,a resident of Basanamane near Kenchanur of Kundapur taluk lost his life while taking bath in a pond at Kenchanur Shetrakatte.

Uday Poojari was the first year BBM student of M.Varadraj Shetty Govt.Frist grade college,Koteshwar. His father Kariya Poojari is a worker at Greenline tile factory. The college declared revision holidays. Uday Poojari first went to help his father in the field work and then went for a bath with his elder brother and cousin at a near by pond. While taking bath in the pond,he got stuck in the mud and could not come out. His brother and cousin started shouting for help.

Hearing their shout,father Kariya Poojari rushed to the spot to rescue his son. He was admitted to Kundapur Govt.hospital where he was pronounced brought dead. Kundapur Police is investigating the case.
