Kundapur:Anganwadi worker commits suicide at railway track

Kundapur:April.6:An Anganwadi worker committed suicide by laying at the railway track near Asodu railway gate on Saturday morning. The deceased is identified as Sumithra(24),D/o Narayan Poojari,a resident of Asodu village.



Sumithra was working at a anganwadi school situated beside Asodu Govt.Higher primary school. She was preparing for the degree examination through private classes. Sumithra watched TV with her family members the night before she committed suicide. She must have taken this extreme step when all the members of the family went for sleep according to the sources. Deppression must be the cause for committing the suicide according to her family members.

When her mother went to wake her up on Saturday morning,she was missing from the house. Search for her started and every one started searching her in the surrounding areas. Her dead body was found at 200 at  a distance of 200 meters from the Asodu railway gate. The head was seperated from her body. Kundapur police is investigating the case.
