All Set for Tulu Parba at Qatar

Doha:April.14: Tulu Koota Qatar, a front line socio-cultural organization with its secular agenda is all set to hold hits Tulu Parba (Tulu Festival) highlighting the culture and tradition of tulunadu.
The festival which is scheduled on 19th April 2013 (Friday) at Al Ghazal Club from 4.30 PM will present a Tulu Drama “ Julie my Darling” ” directed and enacted again by the talented artists from Tulukoota Qatar. Popular Music Director of Tulu Films Sri.Charan Das Kumar will be providing the Music Direction for this Drama. Whole event involves the hard work of more than 100 participants to make this a memorable evening. The event will also highlight verities of Tulu rich tulu culture by forum members.
Mr. Nilangshu Dey, Chairman ICBF Advisory Council – Qatar will be the chief guest. Mr. Thukaram Poojary P (M.A M Phil) HOD History, SVS College, Bantwal, DK, Mr. Bhaskara Rai Kukkuvalli, (MA M.Ed) Popular TV Anchor & Multitalented Personality from Tulu Nadu and Mr. M. Ravi Shetty , Managing Director – Advance Technical Services Group will be the guests of honour.
The President of the forum Mr. Seetharam Shetty and Cultural Secretary Mrs. Padmashree Shetty has jointly appealed all the tulu expatriate community members at Qatar to attend this tulu festival and enjoy the rich tulu culture.
