Mangalore:Old building front balcony collapses near Hampankatta;2 persons injured

Mangalore:June.3:2 Persons were injured when a old building near Hampankatta clock tower, collapsded on Monday morning. John(62),a resident of Sakaleshpur,got fractures at his leg and is admitted to Wenlock hospital while Pavan Kumar got fingure injuries and getting treatment at the same hospital.

The first floor balcony front portion of the building collapsed due to contineous rainfall in the city. A lawyer’s office is existing on the first floor and the building has a bakery and a footware shop on the ground floor. The next building at the same place has also become very old and is in a dangerous condition.
