Byndoor:House damaged due to lightening stroke

Byndoor:June.4:A house was damaged due to lightening stroke at Tenkabailu village near Byndoor on Thursday night. The lightening hit Lawrence Crasta’s kitchen room with a big sound on Thursday at 8 pm. The tiles of the kitchen room and front portion cement sheets were completely damaged in the incident. Lawrence crasta’s wife,Philomina Crasta was at the kitchen room when the lightening struck the house. She was shocked by the incident and lost her hearing sense. Philomina Crasta is admitted to Kundapur govt.hospital.

The kitchen items were broken,the electric wiring of the house was burnt and all the electronic items inside the house were damaged. The lightening also hit the coconut trees near the house.

The electric items of neighbor Jecintha Crasta,Selin Fernandes,Uday Jogi and Janaki Poojari were also damaged due to the lightening.
